The short version
  • Moz Pro's main plans as of November 2026: Standard $99 a month, Medium $179, Large $299. Paid yearly they work out at $79, $143 and $239 a month.
  • The limits that matter are campaigns (3, 10, 25), tracked keywords (300, 1,500, 3,000) and keyword research queries, which jump from 150 a month on Standard to 5,000 on Medium.
  • An entry-level plan costs $49 a month for one website. Moz's pricing page does not list its limits beside the other plans.
  • Extras: each extra user is $49 a month, and campaigns, keywords, crawl pages and keyword queries can each be topped up. Overages are not included in the plan price.
  • For one website you own, Google Search Console is free, and MrKeyword (our product) is free for 25 tracked keywords, then $10 a month. Neither gives you Moz's Domain Authority or its link index.

Disclosure: MrKeyword publishes this page and appears in it as one of the cheaper options. Every Moz Pro figure below was read on Moz's pricing page on 1 November 2026. We re-check it monthly; confirm on Moz's page before you buy.

How much does Moz Pro cost?

As of November 2026, Moz Pro costs $99 a month for Standard, $179 for Medium and $299 for Large on monthly billing, and $79, $143 and $239 a month paid yearly. Below them sits an entry-level plan at $49 a month, which Moz describes as designed for individuals managing a single website. Above them, Moz sells Enterprise plans through sales. Moz Local, for business listings, is a separate product with its own price.

The yearly prices come with a small-print detail: Moz shows them as billed "for your first year" (for example $950 for Standard). The page does not say what the second year costs, so ask before you commit if renewal price matters to your budget.

The table below is generated from our pricing dataset, which we re-check against Moz's page every month.

What does each Moz Pro plan limit?

Each Moz Pro plan is limited by campaigns (tracked sites), tracked keywords, users, pages crawled and research queries, and the research limits differ far more between plans than the prices do. A campaign, in Moz's words, tracks one site or URL plus three competitor websites, across up to four search engines per tracked keyword.

Standard, $99 a month

Standard is aimed at "small businesses that just need the basics of SEO". It includes 1 user, 3 campaigns, 300 tracked keywords and 100,000 pages crawled a week. The limit most buyers miss is research: 150 keyword queries a month in Keyword Explorer, 50 domain overviews and 5,000 backlink queries. If you research keywords most days, 150 queries runs out fast.

Medium, $179 a month

Medium is the plan Moz marks Most Popular, and the jump in research allowance explains why: 5,000 keyword queries a month instead of 150, with 2 users, 10 campaigns, 1,500 tracked keywords, 500,000 pages crawled a week, 20,000 backlink queries and branded reports. It is also the plan with a "Try it free" option on the pricing page.

Large, $299 a month

Large covers 3 users, 25 campaigns, 3,000 tracked keywords, 1,250,000 pages crawled a week, 15,000 keyword queries and 70,000 backlink queries a month, and 500 rank checker queries a day instead of 200.

Starter, $49 a month

The entry-level plan appears below the main plans with one line: available for $49 a month and designed for individuals managing a single website. Moz does not list its keyword, crawl or query limits on the pricing page, so check them at sign-up before you rely on it.

AI visibility on every plan

All three main plans now include AI search features: 3, 6 or 12 AI Visibility dashboards, 150, 300 or 600 tracked prompts checked weekly across GPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode, and 2, 10 or 50 AI content briefs a month.

What costs extra on Moz Pro?

Moz Pro's plan price covers its listed quotas only; extra users cost $49 a month each and most limits can be raised with paid top-ups. The pricing page lists these add-ons, and notes that overages are not included:

  • Extra user seat: $49 a month per seat, on any plan.
  • Extra campaign: $10 a month each.
  • Extra 200 tracked keywords: $20 a month.
  • Extra 50,000 pages crawled: $15 a month.
  • Extra 10,000 keyword queries: $10 a month.
  • Extra 5 keyword lists or 5 link tracking lists: $25 a month each.
  • Extra AI Visibility dashboard: $20 each.
  • Extra 100 tracked AI prompts: $50.

Users are the cost that adds up fastest. A three-person team on Standard pays $99 plus two seats at $49, or $197 a month, before any top-up; Medium includes two users and Large three, which is often the cheaper route for a team.

How much do you save by paying Moz Pro yearly?

Paying yearly saves 20%: Standard falls from $99 to $79 a month, Medium from $179 to $143 and Large from $299 to $239. Moz shows the yearly totals as $950, $1,719 and $2,868 "billed for your first year", a saving of $238, $429 and $720 on twelve monthly payments.

Moz's FAQ says you may cancel or change plans at any time, "no questions asked". It does not offer a student discount, and it points registered 501(c)(3) non-profits to a separate page for their options.

Can you use Moz for free?

Yes, in a limited way: a free Moz Community account gives limited access to MozBar, Keyword Explorer and Link Explorer, and Moz Pro itself offers a free trial. The free account is how most people check a site's Domain Authority without paying. For more checks at once, our free domain authority checker shows MrKeyword Link Authority for several domains with no sign-up; it is our own score, not Moz DA, and our Moz DA vs Ahrefs DR guide explains how the scores differ.

Which Moz Pro plan should you choose?

Choose Standard if you mainly track up to 3 sites and rarely research new keywords, Medium if you research keywords every week or need two users, and Large for agencies past 10 sites. Because Standard's 150 keyword queries a month is low, many people who start on Standard for tracking end up upgrading for research.

What are cheaper alternatives to Moz Pro?

Cheaper alternatives to Moz Pro include Mangools and SpyFu for research and tracking at a lower entry price, Keyword.com for rank tracking alone, and Google Search Console or MrKeyword if you mainly work on your own sites. None of them has Moz's Domain Authority, which only Moz calculates.

Vendor figures from each vendor's own pricing page, read on 1 November 2026; Mangools, SpyFu, SE Ranking, Keyword.com. MrKeyword from our pricing page; we make MrKeyword. Prices in US dollars as listed.

SpyFu ($39 a month) and Mangools ($61) have the lowest entry prices of the research suites here; see SpyFu pricing and Mangools pricing. SE Ranking costs more than Standard but tracks far more keywords daily; see SE Ranking pricing. Our Moz alternatives comparison weighs each against Moz on data as well as price, and SEO tool pricing compared puts every vendor in one table.

MrKeyword, which we make, is built on first-party data: your Search Console and Bing positions kept as a daily history, Keyword Planner volumes, a site audit and a backlink checker. The Free plan covers 1 website and 25 tracked keywords; Starter is $10 a month for 500 keywords, Growth $19 for 3 websites and Agency $49 for 10.

Is Moz Pro worth the price?

Moz Pro is worth it if Moz's own data, Domain Authority, its link index and Keyword Explorer, is what you report on; it is less good value if you mostly need rank tracking. Per tracked keyword it costs more than SE Ranking, and Standard's research allowance is small. Its strengths are a long track record, clear metrics that clients recognise, and a free tier that covers occasional DA checks.

The practical test: list the reports you opened last month. If most were your own rankings and clicks, Search Console has them free. If most were Moz DA, link research and keyword ideas, Medium is usually the plan that fits.

What MrKeyword does not do

MrKeyword is not a replacement for Moz Pro if you need Moz's Domain Authority, a large link index or research on sites you do not own.

  • No web-scale keyword index. It cannot list every keyword a competitor ranks for. Its search volumes come from Google Keyword Planner through the official Google Ads API, for the keywords you research.
  • Competitor positions are predicted, not measured. The Competitors tab in rank tracking estimates where rival domains rank from MrKeyword's own index and labels every figure Predicted.
  • No live SERP checks. It never scrapes Google. Your positions are Google's own average positions from Search Console (and Bing Webmaster Tools), for sites you verify, with Google's usual 2 to 3 day delay.
  • A smaller link index. Backlinks and Link Authority come from MrKeyword's web graph, which is smaller than the link indexes the big suites run.
  • No local pack, map or ads tracking, and no social media or PPC toolkits.
