Keyword.com pricing and alternatives: what you pay, and what each tracker actually measures

Keyword.com pricing starts low and scales with the number of keywords, how often they update and how deep they are checked. This page sets out what its pricing page showed on 29 October 2026, then compares it fairly with four alternatives: SE Ranking, AccuRanker, Google Search Console and MrKeyword. We make MrKeyword, so we say plainly where Keyword.com does the job better.

The short version
  • Keyword.com pricing on 29 October 2026 started at $3 a month billed annually ($36 a year) or $4 a month for its Google-only Search Visibility plan; the price grows with keywords and options. 360° Visibility (Google plus AI search) started at $26 a month billed annually.
  • Keyword.com is a SERP rank tracker: it checks the live results page daily or weekly, down to ZIP-code level, for any keyword and any domain, including competitors.
  • SE Ranking (from $129 a month) and AccuRanker (from €224 a month as shown to us) are bigger rank trackers aimed at larger keyword sets.
  • Google Search Console is free and measures your own site's average position; it is not a rank tracker for competitors.
  • MrKeyword (our product) stores a daily copy of your Search Console and Bing positions, from free; it does not check live SERPs or track competitors.

Disclosure: MrKeyword publishes this page and is one of the tools compared. Every competitor price links to the official page we read it from on 29 October 2026. Where a pricing page did not state something clearly, we say so rather than guess.

How much does Keyword.com cost?

Keyword.com's pricing page showed three self-serve plans on 29 October 2026, with the lowest price at $3 a month billed annually ($36 a year) or $4 a month, plus a Custom plan from $490 a month. Each plan is configured by keyword count (or AI credits), update frequency and check depth, so the price you pay depends on the options you pick.

What Keyword.com does well

Keyword.com checks the actual search results page for the keywords you choose, on a schedule, which a Search Console-based tool cannot do. Its rank tracker page lists:

  • Live SERP positions on desktop and mobile, daily or weekly, with on-demand updates.
  • Local tracking from country down to city and ZIP code, and Google local pack (“Snack Pack”) visibility.
  • SERP features and AI Overviews tracking.
  • Competitor benchmarking and share of voice, so you can see a rival's positions, not just yours.
  • Integrations with Looker Studio and Google Search Console. Its help article says the Search Console integration adds clicks, impressions and CTR to the keyword table, refreshed every 24 hours.

That makes it a strong fit if you need to report an exact position on a given day, track keywords you do not rank for yet, watch competitors, or follow local rankings in specific places.

Why people look for a Keyword.com alternative

Usually for one of three reasons: they want more than rank tracking in one subscription, they track many thousands of keywords, or they want positions measured from their own Search Console data instead of SERP checks.

  • Wider toolset. Keyword.com is centred on rank tracking and AI visibility. If you also want a site audit, backlinks or keyword research in the same tool, a suite such as SE Ranking covers more.
  • Very large keyword sets. AccuRanker's plans start at thousands of keywords and go past 25,000 on Enterprise.
  • Measured, not sampled. A SERP check is one look at one results page, from one location, at one moment. Search Console reports the average position across every real search where your site appeared. Some teams prefer that for trend reporting on their own site, and it costs nothing.

SE Ranking

SE Ranking is an all-in-one SEO suite whose rank tracker sits alongside keyword research, audits and backlink tools. On 29 October 2026 its pricing page listed Core at $129 a month with 2,000 keywords tracked daily, and Growth at $279 a month with 5,000, with 20% off on annual billing. Both plans listed AI tracking with 25 prompts a day across 5 AI engines. It offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card.

Choose it over Keyword.com if you want one subscription for most SEO work. Keyword.com is stronger if rank tracking is all you need and you want a much lower entry price.

AccuRanker

AccuRanker is a dedicated rank tracker built for large keyword volumes. Its pricing page, which showed us prices in euros, listed Professional at €224 a month (tiers of 2,000, 3,000 or 5,000 keywords), Expert at €764 a month (10,000 to 25,000 keywords) and Enterprise through sales, with 10% off yearly. It describes daily keyword updates, includes Google Search Console and Google Analytics on Professional, and adds an unlimited read API on Expert. It also lists AccuLLM and AI models, without saying on that page what they track.

Choose it for thousands of keywords and API reporting. Keyword.com is stronger for small keyword sets, where AccuRanker's entry plan is far larger than you need.

Google Search Console

Google Search Console is Google's free service for your verified site, and its Performance report already gives you an average position for every query and page. Google defines that position using the topmost position your link held in each result, averaged across queries, and shows a dash where your site was never seen.

Choose it as the baseline: every rank tracker above is more useful with it connected. Its limits: it shows only your own sites, cannot track a keyword you do not appear for, has no competitor view and no alerts on keyword movement, and its interface is built for exploring rather than tracking a fixed list.

Try the Search Console route firstThe free rank tracker reads your own Search Console positions and keeps a daily history of the keywords you choose.

MrKeyword

MrKeyword is a Search Console-based rank tracker and SEO workspace: it reads the average position Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools report for your verified site and stores a daily copy. Nothing is scraped and no third-party rank provider is involved.

  • Rank tracking: average position and its change over the last 7, 28, 90, 180 or 365 days, by device and country; top-3, top-10 and page-two bands; a “wrong page” flag when a different URL ranks than the one you targeted; alerts and an opt-in weekly email digest. See rank tracking.
  • History beyond Google's window: Search Console keeps roughly 16 months of data; MrKeyword keeps its own daily copy from the day you connect.
  • Around it: a site audit, Search Console query reports, AI visibility questions and an MCP server, so Claude or Cursor can answer questions from the same data (SEO with Claude).
  • Pricing: Free covers 1 website and 25 tracked keywords. Starter is $10 a month for 1 website and 500 tracked keywords; Growth $19 a month for 3 websites and 1,500; Agency $49 a month for 10 websites and 5,000. Yearly billing is ten times the monthly price. See pricing.

Where Keyword.com is stronger: it checks the live results page on the day, can track keywords you do not rank for yet, tracks competitors and share of voice, tracks SERP features and local packs down to ZIP code, and offers unlimited users. MrKeyword does none of those.

Which Keyword.com alternative should you choose?

Pick by the question you need answered, not by the feature list.

If you need to know…Tools that fitWhy
Exactly where you rank today in one cityKeyword.com, SE Ranking, AccuRankerOnly a live SERP check from that location answers it
Where competitors rank for your keywordsKeyword.com, SE Ranking, AccuRankerSearch Console-based tools see only your verified site
Whether your own visibility is trending up or downGoogle Search Console, MrKeywordAverage position across all real searches is a steady trend signal

Many teams combine the two approaches: Search Console data for their own trends and opportunities, and a SERP tracker for the handful of keywords where the exact daily position, a location or a competitor matters.

What MrKeyword does not do

MrKeyword is not a SERP rank tracker, and it is not a drop-in replacement for Keyword.com if you rely on live positions.

  • It does not check live search results. Positions are provider averages for a period, not a look at page one on a given day.
  • It does not track competitor rankings or share of voice.
  • It does not track SERP features such as featured snippets or local packs.
  • It cannot report a position for a keyword or day with no impressions, because no search engine measured one; it shows a gap, never a zero.
  • It works only for sites you have verified in Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools.

Questions and answers

Keyword.com alternatives questions

How much does Keyword.com cost?

On 29 October 2026 its pricing page showed Search Visibility from $3 a month billed annually ($36 a year) or $4 a month, 360° Visibility from $26 a month billed annually, AI Visibility from $7.83 a month billed annually, and a Custom plan from $490 a month. The price depends on keyword count, update frequency and depth, so check its pricing page for your package.

Does Keyword.com have a free trial?

Yes. Its pricing page listed a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, including 100 keywords and 20 credits.

What is the best Keyword.com alternative?

It depends on the job. SE Ranking fits if you want rank tracking inside a full SEO suite, AccuRanker if you track many thousands of keywords, and Google Search Console or MrKeyword if you want your own site's measured average positions rather than live SERP checks.

Is there a free alternative to Keyword.com?

Google Search Console is free and reports your own site's average position for every query. MrKeyword's Free plan tracks 25 keywords on 1 website from that data. Neither checks live results or tracks competitors.

Why do Search Console positions differ from Keyword.com positions?

They measure different things. Keyword.com checks a results page at a moment, from a location. Search Console averages the topmost position your site held across all real searches over the period, so the two numbers rarely match exactly.

Can MrKeyword replace Keyword.com?

Only if you do not need live SERP positions, competitor tracking, SERP features or local pack tracking. If you do, Keyword.com or another SERP tracker is the better fit, and MrKeyword can sit alongside it for Search Console trends and audits.
