Similarweb pricing in 2026: what each package costs, what it limits, and cheaper ways to check traffic

Similarweb costs $199 to $649 a month on monthly billing as of November 2026, or $125 to $542 a month billed yearly, for its three self-service Web Intelligence packages. Each includes 1 user and 3 or 6 months of data. Business packages, with up to 37 months of history, are priced by sales.

The short version
  • Three self-service packages as of November 2026: Competitive Intelligence $199 a month, Competitive Intel & SEO & AEO $399 and Competitive Intel, SEO & AEO & Ads $649. Billed yearly: $125, $333 and $542 a month.
  • The headline "from" price is the yearly one. Similarweb advertises $125 a month, which is Competitive Intelligence billed yearly ($1,500 for the year); month by month it is $199.
  • Every self-service package includes 1 user and 3 months (Competitive Intelligence) or 6 months of history. Similarweb's pricing page lists no price for extra users or longer history; both come with custom Business packages.
  • Business packages are quoted by sales: up to 37 months of data, country-level coverage, AI Studio, data feeds, the API and SSO.
  • For organic traffic alone, MrKeyword's free website traffic checker (our product) estimates any site's monthly organic clicks with a ±3x range and no account. It does not show total visits, channels or audiences, which is what Similarweb sells.

Disclosure: MrKeyword publishes this page and makes a free traffic estimate that appears below as a cheaper option. How much does Similarweb cost?

As of November 2026, Similarweb's self-service Web Intelligence packages cost $199, $399 and $649 a month on monthly billing, or $125, $333 and $542 a month billed yearly. These are the packages on the Entrepreneurs tab of its pricing page, sold to individuals and small teams. The Businesses & Enterprises tab has no prices: those packages are custom and sold through sales.

Similarweb leads with the yearly figure. Its cards show $125 in large type and “or $199 per month” underneath, so the $199 is what you pay if you do not commit to a year.

What does each Similarweb package include?

The three packages build on each other: Competitive Intelligence covers traffic and audiences, the second adds SEO and AI-search (AEO) data, and the third adds advertising intelligence. Each includes 1 user; the history and data-credit allowances are in the table above.

Competitive Intelligence, $199 a month

Similarweb pitches it at researchers and analysts. It covers Website Performance, Traffic & Engagement, Customer Demographics, a Marketing Channels Overview and Competitor Alerts, with 3 months of historical data and 100 data credits a month. It has no SEO keyword data, no rank tracker and no AI visibility tracking.

Competitive Intel & SEO & AEO, $399 a month

Marked “Most Popular” and aimed at marketers and SEO managers, it adds SEO Intelligence (Organic Search Overview, Keyword Research, Rank Tracker, Site Audit & Backlinks) and AEO Intelligence (AI Brand Visibility with 150 tracked prompts, Sentiment Analysis, Citation Analysis and AI Traffic), and doubles history to 6 months. The pricing page does not state a tracked-keyword limit for its Rank Tracker.

Competitive Intel, SEO & AEO & Ads, $649 a month

For performance marketers: everything above, plus Ad Intelligence (Creative & Campaign Insights, Search & Display Insights, Advertiser Demand Signals and Ad Spend), and 500 data credits a month instead of 100.

Business packages, custom price

The Businesses & Enterprises tab lists what custom packages add: up to 37 months of data, 100+ country-level coverage where you pick the countries, AI Studio, AI agents, custom data feeds and APIs, SSO and dedicated support. Similarweb's FAQ says premium features need a custom package and that its API can also be bought on its own; both are priced through sales.

How much do you save by paying Similarweb yearly?

Paying yearly costs $1,500 instead of $2,388 for Competitive Intelligence, a saving of $888 or about 37%, by our arithmetic on Similarweb's prices; on the other two packages the saving is about 17% and 16%. Similarweb does not state a discount percentage itself, so these are our sums: $3,996 against $4,788, and $6,504 against $7,788.

The saving is largest on the entry package, the one most people start with. To move an existing subscription to annual billing, the FAQ says to email Similarweb support. Entrepreneurs packages can be cancelled from the subscription page inside the platform and run to the end of the paid period; Business terms follow the contract.

Is Similarweb free, and is there a trial?

Similarweb's pricing page lists no free plan, but its website shows free sample data and every self-service package has a “Try for free” button; the pricing page does not state how long the trial lasts. Its FAQ describes the free data on similarweb.com as “a high-level sample” with a limited set of features and no deeper drill-downs. Paid packages unlock the platform's timeframes, countries and devices.

If what you need is a rough size for a competitor's traffic once or twice, the free sample or a free estimate may be enough. Our guide to how to check website traffic explains the methods behind third-party numbers and why they disagree with a site's own analytics.

Which Similarweb package should you choose?

Choose Competitive Intelligence if you only need competitors' traffic, audiences and channels; the SEO & AEO package if you also need their keywords and AI visibility; and the Ads package only if you research paid campaigns. If a team of several people needs logins, or you need more than 6 months of history, you are in Business territory and need a quote.

How accurate is Similarweb's traffic data?

Similarweb's figures are estimates for any site that has not shared its analytics with it, so treat them as a model that is closer for big sites than small ones, not as a measurement. Similarweb says its data comes from real users and other sources, and publishes its own explainer on why its numbers differ from Google Analytics. Every third-party traffic tool says something similar about its own figures.

That is not a reason to avoid it: for comparing competitors on the same scale, a consistent estimate is useful. It is a reason not to quote a Similarweb number as a fact about another company's traffic, and to measure your own site with your own analytics and Search Console instead.

What are cheaper alternatives to Similarweb?

For your own site, Google Search Console and your analytics measure traffic for free; for competitors, paid alternatives include Semrush's Traffic & Market toolkit and Ahrefs' Traffic Analytics add-on, and MrKeyword's free traffic checker gives a rough organic-only estimate. None of them is a like-for-like replacement for Similarweb's channel and audience data.

Semrush Traffic & Market

Semrush sells competitor traffic as a separate toolkit, at $289 a month, billed annually, on top of or instead of its SEO plans. Our Semrush pricing breakdown lists it with the other toolkits and the extra-user rules that apply to it.

Ahrefs Traffic Analytics

Ahrefs sells competitor traffic as an add-on: Traffic reports cost $99 a month or $990 a year on any Ahrefs plan, including Free (free for websites you verify): total estimated traffic, a 10+ channel breakdown including AI traffic, countries and audience overlap. A Traffic & Market tier, at $299 a month, marked Soon, adds market share and market-level trends. Our Ahrefs pricing breakdown lists it with Ahrefs' other add-ons.

MrKeyword's traffic estimate

MrKeyword, which we make, estimates a domain's monthly organic search clicks from its position in MrKeyword's web graph, a domain-level link graph built from billions of crawled pages. Every figure is labelled Estimated and shown as a low-to-high range with the model that produced it. Until enough sites connect Search Console to calibrate it, that range is ±3x; it narrows only after 8 connected sites calibrate the curve, and a fitted model replaces the baseline only after about 25 sites train and test it. It is free for up to five websites at a time with no account, and the domain authority checker shows the same sites' Link Authority beside it.

For your own sites, MrKeyword shows measured clicks instead: connect Search Console and it keeps a daily history of your clicks, queries and positions, with traffic drop alerts. The Free plan covers 1 website and 25 tracked keywords; Starter is $10 a month, Growth $19 for 3 websites and Agency $49 for 10. For every SEO tool's price side by side, see SEO tool pricing compared.

Is Similarweb worth the price?

Similarweb is worth it if competitor and market traffic is a regular part of your job, because few tools cover channels, audiences and engagement for any site; it is poor value if you mainly need your own site's numbers. Your own traffic is measured free in your analytics and Search Console, and a one-off look at a competitor's organic size does not need a subscription.

If you do buy it, the yearly price is the one to compare, and the trial is the time to check whether its numbers for sites whose traffic you know, such as your own, are close enough for the decisions you will make with them.

What MrKeyword does not do

MrKeyword is not a Similarweb replacement: its traffic figure is a rough, organic-only estimate, and it has no audience, channel, app or advertising data.

  • No total visits. It estimates organic search clicks, not visits from direct, referral, social, email or paid channels, so its figure will be below any all-channel total.
  • No engagement, demographics or audience data, and no app or ad intelligence.
  • A wide range. The estimate comes from a site's place in MrKeyword's web graph, not from a panel of users; for any single site it can be off by the full ±3x range or more.
  • No web-scale keyword index. It cannot list every keyword a competitor ranks for. Its search volumes come from Google Keyword Planner through the official Google Ads API, for the keywords you research.
  • Competitor positions are predicted, not measured. The Competitors tab in rank tracking estimates where rival domains rank from MrKeyword's own index and labels every figure Predicted.
  • No live SERP checks. It never scrapes Google. Your positions are Google's own average positions from Search Console (and Bing Webmaster Tools), for sites you verify, with Google's usual 2 to 3 day delay.
  • A smaller link index. Backlinks and Link Authority come from MrKeyword's web graph, which is smaller than the link indexes the big suites run.
  • No local pack, map or ads tracking, and no social media or PPC toolkits.
