- AccuRanker pricing on its own page, as of October 2026: Professional from €224 a month, Expert from €764, Enterprise on request above 25,000 keywords, 10% off annual. The smallest band is 2,000 keywords.
- Wincher and Mangools SERPWatcher did not show plan amounts in their pricing page text when we checked, so we quote none. SERPWatcher updates weekly, daily only on its Agency plan.
- SE Ranking Core is $129 a month for 2,000 keywords tracked daily, with a 14-day trial and no card. Keyword.com starts at $4 a month for 50 keywords, with weekly and daily packages; its page does not say which cadence that price buys.
- If you only report on your own site, a Search Console tracker may be enough: MrKeyword (our product) tracks 25 keywords free and 500 for $10 a month. It does not track competitors or live results.
- Before you cancel, export your keyword list and history, run both tools side by side for a few weeks, and compare like with like.
Disclosure: MrKeyword publishes this page and is one of the alternatives listed. Every competitor figure links to the vendor's own page, which we read on 31 October 2026. Where a vendor's page did not show us a price, we say so rather than repeat a number from a third-party site. Prices change, so check the vendor's page before you decide.
This page is for people who already use a rank tracker and are deciding whether to stay. If you are choosing your first one, our comparison of the best rank tracking software covers eight tools side by side, and our list of free rank trackers covers what is genuinely free. Here the question is narrower: what does the tool you have actually cost, what are you paying for, and what would replace it?
Why do people look for rank tracker alternatives?
Most people start looking because the plan they are on no longer matches how many keywords they track, how often they look at the numbers, or what they need to see. The vendors' own pricing pages make three pressure points visible.
- Minimum plan size. AccuRanker's smallest band is 2,000 keywords and SE Ranking's Core plan is 2,000 keywords. If your site has 150 keywords that matter, you pay for capacity you never use.
- Update frequency. Mangools SERPWatcher updates weekly except on its Agency plan. That is fine for a monthly report and frustrating if you are watching a launch or a migration day by day.
- Price you cannot see. Wincher's and Mangools' pricing pages did not show amounts in their page text when we read them, so the cost of moving up a tier is something you find out inside the product or at checkout.
There is a fourth reason that is less about price: some teams realise the number they report every week is their own site's position, not a competitor's, and Google already measures that for free in Search Console. Whether that is enough for you is the most important decision on this page, and we come back to it below.

How much does AccuRanker cost?
As of 31 October 2026, AccuRanker's pricing page listed Professional from €224 a month and Expert from €764 a month, with Enterprise priced on request above 25,000 keywords and 10% off for annual payment. The prices were shown to us in euros. The Professional slider offers bands of 2,000, 3,000 and 5,000 keywords and Expert bands from 10,000 to 25,000; the page does not say which band each displayed price belongs to, which is why we write "from".
What each tier adds, according to the same page: Professional includes daily updates, keyword research, search intent, tagging, filtering, a Google Search Console and Google Analytics connection, and reporting and export. Expert adds dynamic tagging, AI CTR, AccuRanker's own search volume, a Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) connector and unlimited read access to the API. Enterprise adds BigQuery, write access to the API, raw SERP HTML, and unlimited users and domains. AccuRanker says you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at no cost. Its home page describes competitor tracking at group, URL and product level, and AI search tracking through a product it calls AccuLLM. Neither page mentioned a free trial when we read them.
What the price tells you: AccuRanker is built for volume. There is no plan below 2,000 keywords, and API access starts on Expert. If you are an agency with thousands of client keywords and dashboards fed by the API, those are reasons to stay. If you track a few hundred keywords for one or two sites, most of the plan goes unused.
What is the best AccuRanker alternative?
The best AccuRanker alternative is SE Ranking if you still need thousands of keywords checked daily, Keyword.com if you need a small tracker with weekly or daily packages, and a Search Console tracker if you only report on sites you own.
- Same job, similar scale: SE Ranking Core lists 2,000 keywords tracked daily for $129 a month, with keyword research, audits and backlinks in the same subscription. Its rank tracker page describes Google, Bing and YouTube positions in the top 100, down to city or ZIP code, and more than 35 SERP features including AI Overviews.
- Same job, much smaller: Keyword.com sells packages of 50, 100, 200 or 500 keywords, weekly or daily, from $4 a month; its pricing page does not say which cadence that price buys. Our Keyword.com pricing page goes through its plans.
- Different job: if your AccuRanker projects are all your own domains and nobody looks at the competitor columns, MrKeyword rank tracking reads the positions Google measured for those domains instead, from $10 a month.
How much does Wincher cost, and what are the alternatives?
Wincher's pricing page did not show plan amounts in its page text when we read it on 31 October 2026, so we do not quote a Wincher price; it listed three tiers sized by keywords instead. The tiers were: small teams, from 500 keywords and up to 10 websites with 5 competitors per website; growing teams, from 1,000 keywords with 10 competitors per website; and agencies, from 5,000 keywords with 20. The page lists daily updates and a Google Search Console integration, and marks on-demand ranking updates as included only from the 1,000-keyword tier. Figures published elsewhere, including older Wincher help and blog articles, use plan names that do not match the current pricing page, so we leave them out.
Wincher's home page describes daily rankings, on-demand ranking updates whenever you want them, competitor comparisons over time, local tracking, and connections to WordPress, Wix and Looker Studio. It offers a 7-day free trial of its Pro plan. Its pricing page includes on-demand updates only from the 1,000-keyword tier, not on the 500-keyword small-teams tier. If the WordPress connection or the on-demand refresh is what you use most, check that any replacement offers the same before you move.
Wincher alternatives: if you leave because of price, Keyword.com is the closest like-for-like small tracker with a public price list, sold in weekly or daily packages. If you leave because you want research and audits too, SE Ranking bundles them, at a larger minimum plan. If the sites you track are all your own and the on-demand refresh was the only reason you checked results daily, a Search Console tracker gives you Google's own average for each day at a lower cost, with a 2 to 3 day delay.
Is SERPWatcher worth it, and what are the alternatives?
SERPWatcher is worth it for beginners who also use Mangools' keyword tools and are happy with weekly updates; its product page says rankings update weekly, and daily only on the Agency plan. The same page describes tracking in more than 65,000 locations, down to state, county, city and DMA region, on desktop and mobile, with email alerts on significant changes, scheduled reports and interactive reports you can share by link.
Price: neither the SERPWatcher page nor the plans and pricing page showed plan amounts or tracked-keyword limits in the page text we read, so we quote no number. The plans page does state two terms worth knowing before you switch: a full refund if requested within 48 hours of payment, and that a cancelled subscription stays upgraded until the end of the period you have prepaid. That second point means you can keep SERPWatcher running while you test a replacement, without paying twice for long.
SERPWatcher alternatives: if weekly updates are the problem, every other results-page tracker in the table above lists daily updates, and Keyword.com sells daily packages as well as weekly ones. If the problem is that you want rankings without paying for a keyword research bundle you no longer use, a dedicated tracker or a Search Console tracker is the cleaner fit.
What should you use instead of SE Ranking's rank tracker?
Use a dedicated rank tracker instead of SE Ranking only if you no longer need its keyword research, audits and backlink tools; for rank tracking alone, its 2,000-keyword minimum is the main cost. Its pricing page listed Core at $129 a month with 2,000 keywords tracked daily and Growth at $279 a month with 5,000, 20% off when billed yearly, extra keywords on Core from $22.40, and a 14-day trial without a card. Its FAQ says the trial includes 750 tracked keywords a day.
SE Ranking is one of the more complete trackers on this list: Google, Bing and YouTube, desktop and mobile separately, city, region or ZIP code, competitor views and SERP features. If those features are why you pay, the realistic alternatives are other suites at similar or higher prices, not a cheaper tracker. If you mostly use the rank tracker and only for your own sites, Keyword.com and a Search Console tracker are the two ways to spend less. Our SE Ranking pricing post breaks down Core, Growth and their add-ons, and SEO tool pricing compared puts every tracker and suite in one dated table.
Is a Search Console rank tracker enough, or do you need daily SERP checks?
A Search Console tracker is enough when you only need your own site's positions and trends; you need daily results-page checks when you need competitors, exact local positions, SERP features or keywords you do not rank for yet. The two methods answer different questions, and neither is a cheaper copy of the other.
A results-page tracker checks the search results for each keyword, location and device you set, and records where your page appeared at that moment. Google Search Console does something else: its Performance report records the topmost position your site held in every real search where it appeared, and averages it. That covers every query with impressions, not only a list you chose, but it only covers sites you have verified. Google's notes on Search Console data add two limits: data usually appears within 2 to 3 days, and some rare queries are withheld to protect privacy. Our explainer on Search Console average position shows how to read the number.
| What you need to know | Search Console tracker | Daily results-page tracker |
|---|---|---|
| Is my site's visibility going up or down? | Yes averaged across real searches | Yes for the keywords and places you chose |
| Which page is ranking, and is it the right one? | Yes | Yes |
| Where does a competitor rank? | Predicted only, labelled | Yes |
| Where do I rank in one city or ZIP code today? | No country and device only | Yes |
| Am I in the featured snippet, local pack or AI Overview? | No | Yes on trackers that list SERP features |
| Where do I rank for a keyword I have no impressions for? | No there is nothing to measure | Yes |
| What happened to rankings yesterday? | 2 to 3 days behind | Yes |
A policy point also separates them. Google's spam policies describe sending automated queries to Google, including scraping results for rank-checking purposes, as machine-generated traffic that violates its policies. Commercial trackers do not publish every detail of how they collect results and we have not audited any of them, so we make no claim about a particular vendor. It is the reason MrKeyword reads Search Console instead: we never scrape Google.
Plenty of teams end up using both: a Search Console tracker for the full picture of their own site, and a small results-page package for the handful of keywords where a competitor or a city really matters. That combination often costs less than one large plan.
Try a Search Console tracker before you renewConnect your site, track 25 keywords free and compare its trends with your current tool. No card.
Open the free rank trackerIs MrKeyword a good AccuRanker or Wincher alternative?
MrKeyword is a good alternative only if the sites you track are your own or your clients' verified sites, because it reads the positions Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools report rather than checking results pages. It keeps a daily copy of those positions, so history keeps growing past Google's 16-month window, and it charges less because it does not pay to check results.
- What you get: average position and change over 7, 28, 90, 180 or 365 days by device and country, top-3 and top-10 bands, biggest movers, a "wrong page" flag when a different URL ranks than the one you targeted, alerts on movement, lost keywords and cannibalization, and a CSV export.
- Plans: Free covers 1 website and 25 tracked keywords. Starter is $10 a month for 1 website and 500 keywords; Growth $19 for 3 websites and 1,500; Agency $49 for 10 websites and 5,000 keywords, with white-label reports. Yearly billing is ten times the monthly price. See pricing.
- Reports: paid plans get an opt-in weekly email digest, and scheduled reports put the positions in a document a client can read.
- From your AI assistant: the same data is available to Claude or Cursor through the MCP server; our guide to rank tracking with Claude shows the questions it answers.
For agencies comparing tools across client sites, our page on SEO tools for agencies covers the wider stack.
How do you switch rank trackers without losing your history?
Export everything from the old tool first, run the new one alongside it for a few weeks, and only then cancel. Ranking history is the one thing a new tracker cannot recreate, so treat it as the asset.
-
Export your keyword list and history
Download the tracked keywords with their tags, target URLs, locations and devices, plus as much position history as the tool lets you export. Check what the export includes before your billing period ends, not after.
-
Cut the list to the keywords that drive decisions
Switching is a good moment to drop keywords nobody has looked at in months. Many teams find they need a few hundred, which changes which plans make sense.
-
Import into the new tool
Most trackers accept a pasted list or a CSV. In MrKeyword you can paste up to 500 keywords at a time or import a CSV with your own columns, and connecting Search Console starts an import of the 16 months of history Google keeps for your site.
-
Run both for two to four weeks
Keep the old plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. Compare the direction of movement, not the exact numbers: a results-page position and a Search Console average are measured differently and rarely match.
-
Tell whoever reads the reports
If clients or managers see the numbers, explain the change of method before the first new report, so a different figure is not read as a drop. Our guide to how to track keyword rankings has wording that helps.
What does MrKeyword not do?
MrKeyword does not check live search results, so it cannot replace AccuRanker, Wincher, SERPWatcher or SE Ranking for anything that depends on them.
- It does not measure competitors' rankings or share of voice; competitor positions are predictions, labelled Predicted.
- It does not track local packs, city or ZIP-level positions, or SERP features such as featured snippets and AI Overviews.
- It cannot show a position for a keyword or a day with no impressions; it shows a gap, never a zero.
- It works only for sites verified in Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, and its newest days carry Google's 2 to 3 day delay.
- It has no on-demand refresh: a position is Google's average for the day, not a check you can trigger.
If any of those is the reason you pay for your current tracker, keep a results-page tracker for that job and use MrKeyword alongside it for Search Console trends, traffic drop alerts and audits.
Questions and answers
Rank tracker alternatives questions
How much does AccuRanker cost?
As of 31 October 2026, AccuRanker's pricing page listed Professional from €224 a month and Expert from €764 a month, with Enterprise on request above 25,000 keywords and 10% off for annual payment. Its smallest keyword band is 2,000 keywords, and API access starts on Expert.
Does AccuRanker have a free trial?
Its pricing page and home page did not mention a free trial when we read them on 31 October 2026. The pricing page says you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at no cost. Check with AccuRanker directly if a trial matters to you.
How much does Wincher cost?
Wincher's pricing page did not show plan amounts in its page text when we read it on 31 October 2026, so we do not quote one. It listed tiers from 500, 1,000 and 5,000 keywords, and its home page offered a 7-day free trial of Pro.
Does SERPWatcher update daily?
Only on the Agency plan. Mangools' SERPWatcher page says rankings update weekly, with daily updates on the Agency plan. If you need daily positions on a smaller budget, Keyword.com sells daily packages from 50 keywords (check the daily price, since its page does not say which cadence the $4 entry price buys) and SE Ranking lists daily tracking on its Core and Growth plans.
What is the cheapest alternative to AccuRanker?
For live results-page checks, Keyword.com listed packages from $4 a month for 50 keywords as of October 2026 (weekly or daily packages; check which cadence that price buys). For your own verified sites, Google Search Console is free, and MrKeyword tracks 25 keywords free and 500 for $10 a month from Search Console data. Neither of the last two tracks competitors.
Can I move my ranking history to a new tracker?
It depends on what the old tool lets you export and the new one lets you import. Export your keyword list and history from the old tool before you cancel, and keep the file. A Search Console based tracker can also import Google's own 16 months of history for your site when you connect, which covers the period even if the old tool's export does not import cleanly.
